We find that most, if not all installations that we come in contact with need remediation to align to Stack and Industry Best Practices.  We have developed a standard project to bring all of your products in-line and running in top shape.  At the end of this project, we will not only have stopped the noise of tickets but also configured ConnectWise Automate and Manage for optimal performance.

Automate Environment Remediation

  • Perform database and MySQL my.ini tuning
  • Remediate SSL/HTTPS and port forwarding errors

Automate Application Cleanup

  • Custom monitor, script, dataview, group, extra data field cleanup and fixes

User Permissions & Cleanup

  • Review existing roles and current assignments to accounts
  • User permission discussion explaining recommended roles
  • Configuration and walkthrough of agreed-upon permission changes

Endpoint Server & Workstation Patching Configuration

Stack will provide a baseline configuration session as needed to establish patching schedules for servers and workstations. Client facing patch approvals will not be performed by Stack Advisors. Custom patching configurations (windows, groups, etc.) are not covered by this project and will necessitate a separate scope.

  • Patching walkthrough explaining structure, functionality and available options
  • Explanation and configuration of baseline patching setup

Automate Solution Tuning

The core of the project focuses on the alignment of ConnectWise Automate and ConnectWise Manage. This is detailed and custom work to reduce excessive ticket noise, create or edit alert groups, customize service plans and complete the mapping of these items to synchronize with ConnectWise Manage. Collaboration is critical to the success of this phase.

  • Initial Service plan discovery call to clarify and define inclusions for each offered service plan
  • Setup of Manage service boards, statuses, type/subtype/items and minor workflow rules as related to Automate plugin integration
  • Solution tuning discussion involving service plan setups, monitor grouping, and adjustments
  • ConnectWise Manage integration including category/sub-category setup and mapping to Type/Sub-Type/Item
  • Group follow-up tuning session to make a final round of adjustments (additional adjustments will be covered under management)

Project Wrap-Up

This phase allows our entire team some time to make sure that everything is setup as you expect with a call to finalize that your expectations have been met and are either ready to take back the keys or move to our On-Going Management Plan.
